Rwanda is getting serious about renewable energy

For Rwanda and many other African countries, increased access to electricity is vital for job creation and economic growth. The Rwandan government is currently working with several alternative energy initiatives, and the demand for power in the country has attracted energy investors such as Scatec Solar and Gigawatt Global to work with them on a solar power venture.
