With another 65 MW of the Benban solar plant in Egypt starting commercial operation, Scatec Solar’s asset portfolio has exceeded 1 GW in operation. In addition, the company has another 888 MW under construction on four continents.

The 1 GW in operation will contribute to avoid about 1,460,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually and provide energy for more than 970,000 households.
