Scatec earns spot on CDP’s A List and inclusion in S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024

Acknowledgment for outstanding climate change disclosure and commitment to sustainability sets Scatec apart in the industry.

We can proudly announce Scatec’s inclusion in CDP’s prestigious A List for 2023, securing an ‘A’ score for climate change based on transparent disclosure practices. Additionally, the company has earned a coveted spot in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and transparent communication of progress.

Based on data reported through CDP’s 2023 Climate Change questionnaire, Scatec is one of a small number of companies that achieved an ‘A’ – out of over 21,000 companies scored.

Inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook further reinforces Scatec’s commitment to sustainability. Yearbook members are selected based on their score from the S&P Global 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment, or CSA Score. To be listed in the Yearbook, companies must score within the top 15% of their industry and must achieve a CSA Score within 30% of their industry’s top-performing company.

“Being included in CDP’s A List and the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainability. We believe in transparent communication and accountability, and this acknowledgment affirms that we are on the right path. We will continue to prioritise sustainability in all aspects of our business, driving positive change and making a meaningful impact,” says Julie Hamre, VP Sustainability Reporting & Strategy.

As Scatec looks towards the future, the recognition from CDP and inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook serve as motivation to further enhance its sustainability initiatives and continue leading in ESG practices within the industry.
