The conversation will highlight how bold investments and innovative business models are empowering communities, creating economic opportunity, and accelerating the transition to clean energy.

Powering the Future: Inclusive and Robust Clean Energy Markets Roundtable

In addition, our CEO will contribute insights at the exclusive roundtable, “Powering the Future: Building Inclusive and Robust Clean Energy Markets,” hosted by the Executive Office of the United Nations Secretary-General. This roundtable brings together global stakeholders to strategise on fostering inclusive energy markets that deliver both economic and social benefits, ensuring no community is left behind in the clean energy transition.

Driving Investment into Clean Energy Projects in Africa:

ClimateWorks Foundation and OPSWF Network High-Level Roundtable

Our CEO has also been invited to the ClimateWorks Foundation and OPSWF Network High-Level Roundtable on “Driving Investment into Clean Energy Projects in Africa.” This gathering will convene public and private leaders, philanthropists, and investors to examine innovative pathways for mobilising capital and scaling up clean energy solutions, with a special focus on collaboration, policy reform, and inclusive growth.

“We are at a defining moment in our journey. More than a decade ago, we set out to accelerate Africa’s transition to clean, affordable energy. Today, with nearly 2GW under construction, 3.2GW in backlog, and a 7.7GW pipeline, we are on track to double our installed capacity to over 9GW within two years.

This is about more than power, it’s about people. Our projects power millions of homes, create thousands of jobs, and deliver lasting value to communities. What began as a pioneering step into Africa has become a global force for change and we are only just getting started. That is why we are joining the UN General Assembly and Climate Week in New York: to ensure the private and public sectors work hand in hand, and to show global financiers that Africa is one of the most compelling investment cases for the energy transition.”
