Robotics Club

In Ukraine, Scatec supports a robotics club, encouraging talented students to go into a technical degree.

The challenge

As part of stakeholder engagement, Scatec organises annual public hearings with city residents, government officials and educational institutions to create a roadmap for cooperation. Education is one of our priority areas, and the robotics club is an opportunity to increase interest in technical studies.

How we worked together

Scatec partnered with a school to establish a robotics club, operational since 2020. This has created one job, and robotics classes have been included in the curriculum for 5th grade students. In 2021, we provided an HP laptop, FLL Challenge Basic 2021-2022 and uniforms for students to have the opportunity to participate in competitions. This year, we provided the club with consumables for a 3D printer and some kits so that the students could develop their skills. Since robotics classes are attended by all 5th grade students, there is gender equality among those interested in robotics.
